- Q - What types of homes does Room Properties buy?
- A - We buy all types of homes including single family homes, duplexes, townhomes. Farms/ranches and vacant land. We specialize in homes in Denton, Collin, Tarrant counties.
- Q - Why sell to Room Properties?
- A - Home owners sell to us for many reasons. Many people do not want to deal with the hassle of the traditional method of listing their home with a realtor and having open houses. Other people simply want to sell quickly such as in the cases of foreclosure, divorce, relocation, inherited property or their home has simply been on the market too long.
- Q - My house needs repair and updating, will you still make an offer?
- A - Absolutely! Room Properties buys homes in “as is” condition. We buy houses needing repair and up-dating. This includes homes needing structural repair and costly up-dates.
- Q - What does it cost for Room Properties to look at my house?
- A - No cost to you! We will come inspect your property and give you an offer.
- Q - How long does it take to get an offer?
- A - We can usually give you an estimate over the phone after you have answered some questions about the house. We will then schedule a time to do an in-person inspection of your house and can give you a firm offer immediately after that.
- Q - How does Room Properties determine how much they will pay for my property?
- A - Room Properties looks at a number of factors when determining an offer. These include: location , age, condition of the property, cost of repair and value of similar properties in the neighborhood. Our offer will be explained to you so can understand exactly how we arrived at our offer.
- Q - How soon can I get the cash / close on the property?
- A - We can close most purchases in as little as 7 days.
- Q - When do I have to move out?
- A - That is negotiable. In some cases, the seller may stay in the house for up to 30 days after closing.
- Q - What if the owner/co-owner doesn’t live in the area any more?
- A - Most closings can be done remotely. You will simply need to meet with a notary which we will set up and sign the paperwork.
- Q - What if my mortgage is not current?
- A - Tell us that fact immediately! Banks are very quick to take back properties from the owner. We have experience in negotiating with banks and in some cases reducing the penalties owed.
- Q - What if my property has a tax or other liens?
- A - Tell us immediately! We can work with tax liens, mechanics liens and HOA liens.
- Q - Is Room Properties going to try to ”steal” my property?
- A - Of course not! Room Properties is in the business of solving real estate problems. We only do win-win deals that are fair for all parties involved.
